World Class Science
The Cetero Research facility in Toronto, Ontario is a leader in clinical research. We perform studies in a number of therapeutic areas – with a specialty in allergy and respiratory research. Our specially-designed facilities enable us to conduct research trials into treatments for seasonal allergies (ie. grass, trees, ragweed, etc.), perennial allergies (ie. dust, mold), asthma, and dry eye at any time of year, regardless of allergen concentrations outside.
The clinical studies we run are a mix of studies that just require day visits to our facility and studies where participants spend the night in one of the semi-private bedroom suites in our 76-bed clinic. If you have to sleep over, we will provide fresh linen, clean towels and wholesome meals and snacks.
Our facility offers so many amenities that you may almost forget you’re in the midst of an important scientific research project. For participants who want to be left alone, we offer quiet study areas and a broad selection of current magazines and newspapers. For the more sociably-minded, there are movies and large-screen TVs, games and a pool table. We also provide wireless internet access, so you won’t lose touch with the outside world.
Eligibility for every study varies, and study participants must go through our screening process to be eligible. Once you submit the online information request form, a recruitment specialist will conduct a telephone pre-screening based on the needs of the specific study. We may also book a medical screening appointment. Once we know more about you, we’ll be able to suggest the best match between you and one of our open studies.
